However, despite regular maintenance, several water-quality-related issues began to worsen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Persistent limescale buildup, despite the use of water softeners;<\/li>\n<li>Visible copper oxidation, causing both aesthetic and structural deterioration;<\/li>\n<li>Algae growth in the basin, making the water cloudy and unattractive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These issues affected not only the fountain\u2019s appearance, but also its durability and the visitor experience.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #024775;\">Objective: improve water quality and reduce chemical use<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The site manager was looking for a solution that would be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>More sustainable than conventional chemical treatments;<\/li>\n<li>Capable of restoring the copper\u2019s natural shine;<\/li>\n<li>Effective against algae without increasing maintenance demands.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is where ACQUAPROCESS\u00ae comes in \u2014 an innovative water treatment technology that operates without added chemicals, using ultra-low frequencies.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #024775;\">ACQUAPROCESS\u00ae system installation<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The ACQUAPROCESS\u00ae device was installed directly on the fountain\u2019s filtration loop, alongside the existing system.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fast and simple installation, with no structural modifications required. There was a significant reduction in limescale deposits on the fountain walls, despite the water remaining hard. A visible decrease in copper oxidation was also observed, helping preserve the material\u2019s natural shine. At the same time, algae growth in the basin decreased noticeably, resulting in clearer water and reduced odors.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #024775;\">Future challenges: toward more sustainable water management<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Encouraged by these results, the site is now considering reducing \u2014 or even eliminating \u2014 the use of chemical water softeners, which involve recurring costs and environmental drawbacks.<br \/>\n<strong>The objective is clear: transition toward a 100% physical water treatment solution that is more respectful of both materials and the environment.<\/strong><br \/>\nThis case study demonstrates that ACQUAPROCESS\u00ae is an effective, sustainable, and eco-friendly solution for <a href=\"https:\/\/acquaprocess.eu\/blog\/traitement-de-leau-solutions-et-technologies-modernes\/\">water treatment<\/a> in sensitive installations such as public fountains.
